New to the group. An electronic music composition major at CalArts in the early '70's, when Morton Subotnick was on faculty. Studios were outfitted with Buchla modular systems then. However, I swiftly changed to ethnomusicology major when Ravi Shankar and his troupe of musicians from India began teaching at CalArts. Stockhausen has always been one of my favorites

Cool. Hard to find anyone who ever heard of Subotnick, much less studied around him. I listened to him and various German 'XPM' music composers during the 70's. Always moved by sounds outside of the traditional boxes, I recently happened upon these folks at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival here in Austin, Tx. this year. Their work is growing on me like a happy fungus! I don't know them personally but have no problem pushing links to their stuff around here. Check 'em out, and like I said at the start, "Hey".

Their website with links to tunes(?)

    ...and two YouTube vids...

    Enjoy, Mt.
